12. What’s the story behind your Ghibli tattoo? 

Well I’ve absolutely loved Studio Ghibli since I was 6 years old… The first movie I ever saw by them was Kiki’s Delivery Service, then Totoro. I’ve always been a big fan of everything Asian for some reason lol. 

I didn’t even know those 2 movies were Ghibli at the time. But later when Howl’s Moving Castle first came out, my friend showed it to me, and I LOVED IT. It’s been my favorite movie ever since. I later found out that a company called Studio Ghibli made it, then I found out that these Ghibli people also made Totoro and Kiki’s, my favorite childhood movies!

Since then, I’ve seen every single one of their films. I love ALL of them. 

They’ve just always been my favorite, and never get old. Miyazaki and Takahata are wonderful artists.
